Spatial Opens Scottsdale Office

The company celebrates grand opening with audio partner Theater X, estate and commercial builders and designer community.

Spatial, the immersive audio experience company, today announced the opening of its business headquarters and second demo location in Scottsdale following its public launch of the company in March, 2021.

In 2017, Calin Pacurariu and Michael Plitkins quietly co-founded Spatial in Emeryville, California with the goal of bringing a modern approach to real-time interactive and deeply immersive experiences to the world. Building upon four years of development, the company is positioned to shift what’s possible with interactive soundscape design for creators from hobbyist to professional installations across a range of sectors. Spatial’s augmented real- world human experiences scale from home to office to theme parks and beyond.

Spatial has a number of design, technology and AV partners, including Scottsdale-based Theater X, who offers high end audio, theater, lighting and automation solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects in the Southwest. These partners help power Spatial’s software service and bring the magic of what Spatial creates to life.

Spatial’s Scottsdale office is located by Scottsdale Quarter and the Scottsdale airport. The office showcases over 3,000 square feet of immersive audio including 132 audio channels, 12 subwoofers, in-wall, in-floor and mounted speakers throughout.
